Hamswell House
The main façade of Hamswell House is a fine example of the English Renaissance. The property is surrounded by gardens, and features a stone arch and French windows – dating to the early 18th-century. For a truly picture-perfect setting, the beautiful Orangery has high, arched windows and a Cotswold stone roof. The romantic gardens, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, make the ultimate backdrop to drinks receptions on the terrace – boasting stunning rural views. Couples and their guests are free to explore the pergola with its wonderful old wisteria, the walled gardens and the terraced herb garden.
Although you can’t tie the knot here, receptions of up to 200 loved ones are held in the historic orangery and the elegant custom-built marquee – a blank canvas for couples to decorate to their requirements.
Couples booking Hamswell House will benefit from a free menu tasting from their in-house caterers.
