December/January 2018/2019

Winter is here, which means nights cuddled up on the sofa with a big mug of tea and your favourite wedding magazine (ahem!) – in other words, the perfect time to get your wedmin in order. While many people may be consumed by Christmas, for newlyweds-to-be, the wedding planning never sleeps! So we’re here with the latest tips, tricks and expert
advice to help you make your big day everything you could possibly want.

At CWM HQ we are, of course, in full-on festive mode. So expect a sprinkling of fairy dust on everything in this issue, starting with our Winter Wonderland venues feature on page 23. You’re going to love our styled shoot on page 89; full of rich colours and cosy styling, it’ll warm the cockles even on the coldest of nights.

Claire Ridley, our wonderful fashion editor, has you covered if you want to get the lowdown on what’s hot for 2019 – just flick to page 77. I also want to introduce you to our lovely new beauty editor, Kelly Andrews, who’ll be keeping you up to date with all the latest health, beauty and wellness products starting on page 94.

Hamswell House

In the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty stands the historic Hamswell House and its romantic 18th-century gardens. A fine example of English renaissance architecture, the stately home is located within its own private estate.

Couples are given exclusive use of the venue. Seating up to 40 people inside and more on the lawn, The Orangery features glorious high-arched windows and a Cotswold stone roof.

After the formalities, guests are free to enjoy drinks on the terrace and soak up the panoramas before exploring the walled gardens, terraced herb garden and wisteria-clad pergola.

Receptions are held in a custom-built marquee, catering for up to 240 attendees. Smaller wedding parties of up to 40 invitees can take advantage of a special all-inclusive package.
