Woodlands Castle
Set within 12 acres of beautiful parkland with an abundance of vibrant plants, majestic trees and pretty gateways, this venue has endless photo opportunities. The light pink castellated manor house is a wonderful backdrop for weddings with its Victorian veranda. Step inside and visitors find a house brimming with period features, tasteful decor and even the odd suit of armour.
There are four locations to say ‘I do.’ Up to 200 loved ones can be seated on the lawn and watch the happy couple tie the knot under a rose arch on the veranda. The Garden Pavilion is a wonderful blank canvas, holding up to 200 people, where couples can wed in front of its panoramic window overlooking the grounds. More intimate ceremonies take place in the main house. Ruishton holds up to 27 attendees, and Orchard up to 47. These rooms bring a touch of grandeur to proceedings with lavish decorations and fireplaces.
Receptions for up to 47 people are catered for in the house, while The Garden Pavilion holds up to 220 partygoers with its fully functioning bar, dancefloor, and atmospheric starlit ceiling. Parties can enjoy the grounds in to the evening with its warming firepits to toast marshmallows. All couples will have the help of a dedicated wedding coordinator.
