Notes are everything...
A good starting point is to think about the notes and accords you already like or that are a popular thread across your favourite fragrances; what do you currently love and what links those scents together? You may find you adore a certain floral note without even realising it.
You should also consider the location and atmosphere of the wedding; for example, a rich, heady, chypre scent may be your preferred choice and suit a dramatic winter wedding, but for a summer ceremony outdoors, something lighter and fresher may be preferred.
Going into the store to try the fragrances on the skin is important to ensure that yours and your partners' fragrances match.
