SPRING Bring on Captured at Cadbury House in Somerset, this shoot ushers in the freshness of the new season Images courtesy of Victoria Welton Photography Working with Cadbury House, this team of local wedding professionals decided to collaborate on a springtime wedding styled shoot. The set ups were separated over three rooms of the venue: The Drawing Room for the ceremony, The Bar for a fun and creative bride and groom shoot, and The Great Room for the tablescape and bridal shots. The ceremony space was bright with plenty of white and ivory tones, plus a subtle hint of sage green. Meanwhile, two celebrants were drafted in for an element of realism, with the models dressed in stunning wedding gowns, bridesmaid dress and dapper groomswear. Working with the photographers and videographer, while being open to their ideas, everyone had fun being creative throughout. “I drew ideas from the props available such as the white piano, chandelier and black and white winged chair,” says stylist Alison Hieron of Creative Collections. For the Great Room, tables were set for a wedding breakfast, with centrepieces reflecting the spring theme. Glass cylinder vases were filled with ivy-wrapped twigs, blossom and pussy willow branches, willow, fairylights and dried hydrangea heads. Alongside them sat smaller vases of floating candles bringing the soft feel of candlelight. Modern gold beaded charger plates topped with knotted blush pink napkins and bowed top table napkins finished the look. 41 LOCAL SHOOT
