Winter is here, which means nights cuddled up on the sofa with a big mug of tea and your favourite wedding magazine (ahem!) – in other words, the perfect time to get your wedmin in order. So we’re here with the latest tips, tricks and expert advice to help you make your big day everything you could possibly want. Expect a sprinkling of fairy dust on everything in this issue, starting with our Winter Wonderland venues feature on page 23. Holbrook Manor
Combining romance and a quintessentially English style, Holbrook Manor is an exclusive-use venue set in the heart of the old Wessex countryside. The Georgian country house is surrounded by 20 acres of manicured gardens and woodland. Inside, the house seamlessly blends a traditional feel with modern facilities.
Ceremonies are held in two spaces and can host up to 140 attendees. The Garden Room offers neutral décor and breathtaking views of the grounds. High ceilings, majestic pillars and access to the terrace present couples with the utmost elegance. For smaller parties, the intimate Lounge is available. For al fresco vows immersed in nature, couples can tie the knot in the Summer House. Receptions are held in the Garden Room or in a marquee.
