WhatSalon, a brand new innovative app designed to make booking hair and beauty appointments simple and easy, has launched in Bristol.

The launch event was held at The Florist, where a number of key influencers from Bristol joined local salon owners and Instagram sensation Demi Rose Mawby, to sip cocktails and learn about the latest app in the beauty business.

The WhatSalon app allows you to book an appointment in seconds at the swipe of your screen in the most suitable salon near you, alongside finding appropriate appointments to suit your schedule. The need to message back and forth, or call the salon, has been completely eliminated by WhatSalon and appointments can now be found and booked in real time.

In addition to this, the app also boasts features such as Daily Squeeze, which allows you to unlock and view rewards as you use the app. You can also book an Uber to your appointment. It will soon feature Book the Look - allowing you to browse hair and beauty images and select your favourite before booking in with your chosen stylist or artist.

WhatSalon teamed up with Instagram star Demi Rose Mawby for the event. With over 9 million followers, it was an unmissable opportunity to introduce Demi to the WhatSalon app and have her support on the launch night. A number of other South West influencers were also in attendance to learn all about this new app and revolutionise the way they book their hair and beauty appointments.

This event was the first of many across the UK as WhatSalon plan to launch this app city by city nationwide. The app is currently available to download on the App Store and Google Play.

Naomi Sirmans, head of marketing for WhatSalon, commented, "We are delighted with the first launch event for WhatSalon in Bristol. Working with such recognisable Instagram influencers worked brilliantly and it was an incredible event. The feedback we received from salon owners and influencers was glowingly positive and we therefore cannot wait to continue this launch across the UK."
