Tell us about your Bristol and Somerset wedding transport company...
This year we celebrate 25 years providing wedding car hire in the Bristol & Bath region. During that time we have completed hundreds and hundreds of wonderful weddings with a fleet of three matching wedding cars and a team of female drivers providing a unique personal and professional service.

We now offer just a single beautiful ivory 1930's vintage-style convertible with hood and heater for all year round weddings with myself as the uniformed chauffeuse, assisting the couple and bridal party in and out of our cars, organising the dress before walking down the aisle, helping bridesmaids, flower girls and pageboys and being another pair of experienced hands on the day.

What's your background and why did you launch your business?
Always involved with people, I came from a personnel and sales background and following in my mother's footsteps who had her own wedding car hire business in the 1970's, I set up my business in December 1995 just before my own wedding, and it was my husband's suggestion to call it Englands Finest Wedding Cars as my maiden name was England!

What's your top tip for couples booking their wedding transport?
As with all services, I feel it is SO important to choose a supplier that is easy to get along with and willing to listen to your requirements in detail as every wedding is different to each other. Most importantly when looking to hire a wedding car, couples should expect a prompt response to the initial enquiry and should arrange to view the car to ensure the car's condition is as per images seen on their website or Facebook page. It's a great opportunity to also meet the person behind the business, particularly if they will be chauffering you on your wedding day, after all the look of the car is as important as the service provided.

What's the most common question couples ask you?
Will you be the chauffeur on the day? Of course the answer is yes, it's me! However, if I was unable to attend due to illness or injury, I have a wonderful team of experienced lady chauffeuse who would be willing to step into my shoes.

What happens if the car breaks down?
As I always say to couples, if a business has a car stashed away in the garage incase of breakdowns they must be very unsure that their cars are reliable!  Having 25 years experience with other suppliers enables me to call upon another wedding car hire company should the need arise before a wedding although it has never been a necessity.
