Somerset venue Hamswell House pulls out the stops for its couples

Hamswell House, a stunning country wedding venue near Bath, has been awarded the distinction of being an Extra Mile Venue, for the support it's given couples during lockdown. "We have allowed our couples to postpone to any available future date without charge or penalty," says owner Rupert Legge. "We have also written this into our contracts so that couples booking now can do so in confidence. I just think it's the right thing to do."

What's more, the venue will be even more beautiful than ever with work taking place on the idyllic knot garden, ready for celebrations next year.
