Like so many hospitality venues across the country, Old Down Estate has been closed for a large part of the year. However, the team used the time to refurbish the manor house during the periods of closure, and it's also excited to launch its new spa facilities for wedding couples and their parties.
From resurfacing the limestone ground floors and solid-oak floorboards throughout the bedrooms, suppliers and employees have been working tirelessly to paint and decorate the manor in warm, neutral tones to create a welcoming atmosphere when guests can return. Outside, the grounds team has redesigned the courtyard and landscaping to add fabulous bursts of colour and even more gorgeous photo opportunities for newlyweds.
