Emirates Holidays reveals the hottest honeymoon trends to celebrate their appointment of the first ever dedicated 'Honeymoon Planners'.

With wedding season fast-approaching, Emirates Holidays has revealed that busy betrothed couples across Britain are spending 2.5 million hours preparing for their first holiday as newlyweds, with picking a honeymoon (25%) seen as similarly stressful to selecting the wedding party (19%) and choosing what food to eat on 'the Big Day' (27%).

To help avoid any honeymoon-related lovers' tiffs before the big day, Emirates Holidays has teamed up with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to recruit the first ever dedicated Honeymoon Planners specialising in Thailand; a team of three romance experts who will work with couples to create a bespoke packages to specifically suit their tastes and advise on everything from the big decisions to the little touches that help make a honeymoon truly unforgettable.

Couples have a thirst for adventure with 43% wanting to travel somewhere new and exciting for a post-nuptials break

Over half of couples (55%) explore more than one location when on honeymoon
Family Affair
Nearly half of couples (47%) would consider bringing their family along for a 'familymoon'
Romance vs Rooms
British men said a romantic experience topped their list of memorable honeymoon moments (44%), in comparison to women who said amazing accommodation was the most unforgettable (47%)

Thailand tops the honeymoon hotspots: With enchanting culture and stunning scenery, Thailand is a firm honeymoon-favourite amongst couples and is in Emirates Holidays' top 5 best-selling destinations seeing a 32% increase in bookings last year.
