The ultimate wedding breakfast showstopper

Looking for a savoury alternative to traditional wedding cake? This meaty multi-tiered showstopper was created to celebrate NationalBaconDay and is up for grabs for one lucky couple.

Newlyweds have the chance to win the epic cake for their big day via Deliveroo Twitter @deliveroo by sending the online food delivery company a tweet to illustrate their love of bacon, with the hashtag #sizzlinglove

The ultimate 'wedding breakfast' showstopper has been created by masters of fabulous food art Conjurer's Kitchen. The cake is made up of a layer of sponge flavoured with streakybacon, a smokybaconmiddle tier and topped with real bacon.
While the nation was toasting National Bacon Day, Brits are celebrating bacon all year round it seems as Deliveroo reports that this year orders of bacon and ham related products are soaring; up 113 per cent year on year.

Annabel de Vetten from Conjurer's Kitchen said, "My two favourite meals are breakfast and cakes so I wanted to combine the two for the first time. I know how much Brits love abaconsandwich, but we also love a cream cake so it ticks a lot of boxes!"

And it's not all about the humble bacon sandwich, Brits are branching out with orders including Baconnaise Sweet Potato, Bacon Special Fried Rice and Date Glazed Bacon. Even the vegans are on board with one of the most popular non-meat dishes being mac and cheese with shiitake bacon!
