The South West's Best Bridesmaid Revealed by hen and stag experts Red7

The South West's Best Bridesmaid Revealed by hen and stag experts Red7: Image 1 Brides and grooms across the nation have been nominating their bridesmaids for the coveted title of Britain's Best Bridesmaid 2019. The judges at hen and stag experts Red7 examined nearly 500 entries before announcing its shortlist of elite bridesmaids. From that shortlist, seven have been singled out as the very best in their part of Britain.

The title of the South West's Best Bridesmaid has gone to Gabrielle George, 26, from Somerset. Nominating Gabrielle, bride Lula Alexandra O'Niens said, “I got married in August and she planned the perfect hen. However, I fell over on the night and badly broke my leg in four places. I virtually snapped it in half.

“Gabrielle decided to pull my leg straight, thinking it might help, although she has no first aid training. It's very lucky that she did.

“Due to a six-hour wait for an ambulance, the surgeon said, without Gabrielle I would have lost my leg.”

Sarah Chapman, Head of Hen and Stag at Red7, commented: “It is our pleasure to announce our final seven, they truly are the best bridesmaids Britain has to offer.

“Gabrielle and Lula's story stood out because, without Gabrielle, Lula would not have been able to walk down the aisle. It took a lot of courage to step in and save Lula's leg!

“We have played a part in so many weddings and know first-hand how much energy bridesmaids throw into celebrating the bride and groom's big day. We hope that Gabrielle is giving herself a pat on the back for a job well done!”
