Editor Hannah Faulder and account manager Melissa Gilbert experienced the fabulous spa facilities available at this luxury country house hotel.

Arriving at the spa, we were a little flustered having underestimated the time it'd take to get to the hotel, however after stepping inside, the friendly welcome and tranquil surroundings immediately relaxed us. I was greeted by Michal, who was providing my Elemis Deeper than Deep Hot Stone Massage. He talked me through the treatment so I knew exactly what to expect during and, after which, instantly made me feel at ease. Therapeutic hot stones are used in the massage and you can feel the heat deep in to the muscle for the ultimate relaxation, while smaller stones are placed on key energy points. The Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Oil smells divine and left my skin feeling super-smooth.

Melissa enjoyed the Elemis Ocean Body Wrap, which involved being cocooned in an indulgent, detoxifying body mask while benefitting from a de-stressing facial and scalp massage. Luxurious oils are then applied, leaving the skin feeling soft and indulged. After treatments, guests can make the most of the spa, with its relaxation room, outdoor hot tub and sun deck, before heading to one of the on-site restaurants headed up by Marco Pierre White.
