We caught up with Zoe Price-Smith, chief design and product officer at lingerie and sleepwear experts Boux Avenue to chat about bridal lingerie and their new sustainable nightwear collection and what's in store for the Christmas season.

We understand that the brand is on a journey to becoming a more sustainable one, for example with the launch of the ethically sourced nightwear collection made from recycled polyester fibres – tell us a bit more.
Here at Boux Avenue, we are on a journey in becoming a more sustainable brand, and we are starting with our new ethically sourced nightwear collection. We are excited to announce that the Glam nightwear collection called Marnie has had a major upgrade, as the new Maisie. This new nightwear collection is made from recycled polyester fibres (excluding lace trims). Maisie is designed with a glossy satin finish for a luxe feel, in sexy shapes, including a high-cut leg on the shorts. The collection comes in black and ivory, perfect for brides along on-trend colourways. There's even a hot pink shade (hello Barbiecore!) and a powder blue option available. Whether you're looking for your bridal day and night underwear for yourself or your bridesmaids, Maisie is the one! To shop, visit https://www.bouxavenue.com/search?q=maisie&lang=default

Based on your experience, how have bridal lingerie trends evolved over the years and how has Boux Avenue embraced these looks?
Lingerie trends, including bridal ones, have come a long way in recent years. Underwear is now outerwear which has inspired many of the corset-shaped bridal gowns with illusion backs and decorated straps. We've recently launched the Bouxtique by Boux Avenue collection with statement pieces created by our in-house designers in stand-out colours with on-trend detailing including graphic lace, fishnet embroidery and elasticated straps, perfect for a honeymoon! Many of the lace and embroidery details are exclusive to Boux Avenue. To shop, visit https://www.bouxavenue.com/bouxtique-by-boux-avenue

How often do you launch a new bridal collection at Boux Avenue?
We regularly treat our customers to new collections, for example, The Midnight Collection that launched in mid-October in time for Halloween.  Our Christmas collection is called 'Tis the Season' and has just been unveiled - it's extra special this year! What pieces can you suggest for brides-to-be looking to shop for their bridal and honeymoon lingerie?
We love plunge bras here at Boux, with a low-cut V-shape neckline that is flattering under a wedding dress, giving your cleavage a little boost, whilst also offering comfort by giving your bust the support it needs. Plunge bras suit most shapes and are our go-to style when providing a bra fitting in-store. The best-selling Mollie bra ells every 10 minutes and has great reviews! Balconette bras, also known as balcony bras have a horizontal cup shape and a higher centre front which gives great support and provides an uplifted round shape to the bust. The straps tend to join from the side of the cup, rather than the front like most bras. This means the straps come slightly wider, making them great for low-cut necklines. A balcony or balconette bra is perfect for those with a larger bust.

Here at Boux Avenue, we offer fabulous nightwear styles perfect for the wedding night. From cotton short sets to lace chemises, there's something for everyone. To shop, visit https://www.bouxavenue.com/lingerie/bras/balconette

What's the creative vision behind the Autumn/Winter '22 and the Christmas collections?
Myself and the talented design team at Boux Avenue always look to the main fashion catwalks to see what trends are emerging and base each new collection on that. We must stay one step ahead of the competition.

What advice would you give to partners looking to purchase lingerie for their other half this Christmas?
Bring sexy back! Indulge in our new Bouxtique collection available in a wide variety of styles, sizes and colourways. Don't forget about our cotton Pjs in a bag too which are always popular throughout the winter season.

Boux Avenue regularly launch great offers – what's the inspiration for these and what's the most popular offer? Would it be the 'free knicker offer' which is currently running now?
Yes, the free knicker offer that went live online and in our stores at the end of October is a popular one that was previously available in August in time for National Underwear Day. We're also currently running a mix-and-match knicker offer where you can buy three pairs for £15, five for £20 and seven pairs for £35. A pair of Boux Avenue knickers sells every 12 seconds, proving that Boux Avenue is the UK's leading lingerie brand.
