The Orangery at Goldney House, Bristol

The Orangery at Goldney House, Bristol

The meticulously maintained Walled Gardens and grounds at Goldney House overlook the city and provide an oasis of calm away from the everyday buzz of Bristol for your big-day wedding venue. With a pretty rotunda, a shell grotto and various original features, guests can enjoy the serenity of this beautiful space. The Orangery is a historic wisteria-clad building with stone floors, high ceilings and huge windows that let in an abundance of light and provide views of the ornate water canal. It benefits from Georgian-style doors that can be opened up on a warm day to let the outside in. There's also an exclusive area for the newlyweds to take a breath and freshen up during the day.

Let's celebrate! Ceremonies are held in four spaces. The Rotunda is an intimate building that can hold up to 14 people. Larger groups will be suited to either The Mahogany Parlour (40 guests), with its intricately carved fire mantel, or The Music & Drawing Room (70 guests). The largest space, The Orangery, has space for up to 150 loved ones. With flexible areas available, receptions can be held for between 12 and 150 guests.

We love... The historical shell grotto can be hired for special tours for wedding guests.
