This Christmas, Jennifer Owen owner of Wells-based floral design studio Goldfinch, will be hosting several workshops with the Arts Quarter in Cheddar. Classes include luxury wreath-, bauble- and garland-making. So pop 5th, 8th and 12th December in your diaries and head over to www.theartsquarter.com/workshops to find out more about times and costs.

Additionally, Jennifer hosts private hen-party workshops, where you can learn the art of flower crowns, living wreaths, bouquet arranging and more. She has also recently launched a new workshop in dried wreath-making, using a metal-based shape and learning how to attached dried flowers. Jennifer loves to make luna wreaths, so she'll show you show you how to use the same method on a basic shape or upgrade to a luna or hexagon shape, custom-made by a metal welder.

Goldfinch favours sustainable methods of floristry and you and your bride tribe will be provided with a lovely glass of bubbly and nibbles as you arrive (there might even be a mince pie or two on offer for the Christmas workshops). All tools and equipment are provided, as well as all materials needed to produce your beautiful piece.
