New venue alert! Introducing The Somerset Boat Centre

Situated on the edge of the Bridgwater and Taunton canal, The Somerset Boat centre benefits from a quiet country setting. 

This brand new venue is now taking bookings for weddings and special events and is planning an open day launch and wedding fair on Saturday 23rd February, 2019 from 11am to 3pm.

Couples visiting the event will be offered a free narrow boat ride along the canal where they will disembark onto a private jetty leading up to the venue. Free goodie bags and refreshments will await them and a hand-picked selection of professional wedding suppliers will be on hand to showcase their wedding services.

The Somerset Boat Centre is a family run business with a passionate for our inland waterways. It offers a range of recognised water-related training courses and the venue is ideal for couples who want a relaxed waterside environment to entertain their family and friends.

Visitors to the wedding fair will explore the facilities within the main building, the covered patio area and the landscaped garden. They'll also meet a range of suppliers from florists and cake designers, to photographers and make-up artists. 

The first five couples to book on the day will receive a 5 per cent discount on venue and boat packages.
