Q. I have a full bust; what style of dress would suit me and give me support?

A. Lucy May says: I'd recommend a beautifully boned corset in order to provide under-bust structure. A covered or illusion top will also help provide extra support in the gown or can hide a bra strap if needed.

We love a dropped-waist ballgown or fit-and-flare dress for your body shape. Simple, clean lines, which don't cut off in the middle give a balanced silhouette and a shallow sweetheart neckline would flatter in this area. Steer clear of column or high-waisted styles, which don't define your waist.

Subtle lace, small accents of detail and beaded belts are great features to look out for to help accentuate your figure. A fitting with a qualified seamstress is essential to make sure your gown is tailored perfectly to you.
